There are no Investment Adviser Seminars scheduled at this time. Any future dates and locations will be posted as soon as they become available.
The
Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation (OFIR) is conducting a series
of seminars for investment advisers and
applicants. The seminars will provide IA’s and applicants with
information on relevant Michigan law as well as an overview of the examination
process. The seminars will also be an excellent opportunity to ask questions
of the OFIR staff.
Each IA is asked to send a maximum of two representatives. The OFIR
recommends that at least one compliance officer be sent to the seminar.
While it is not necessary that each individual attending be currently
employed with an Investment Adviser, please indicate whether or not you
are on the form below. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis
and is free of charge. To attend, please complete the following online
registration form. You are not registered until you receive an e-mail
confirmation. If you do not see a date that you would like to attend,
please continue checking the website as more locations and dates may
be added.
If you
have any questions or concerns that you would like to have addressed
at the seminar, please e-mail us ahead of time at BCS-Reg@michigan.gov.gov.
While this does not guarantee that your specific question will be covered
during the seminar,
OFIR will attempt to answer
as many relevant questions as is practical.
The seminar sites are accessible and include handicap parking. Individuals
attending the seminar are requested to refrain from using heavily scented
personal care products, in order to enhance accessibility for everyone.
If you require additional accommodations in order to participate in the
seminar, need to cancel your reservation or have any questions please
contact Connie Droste at 517-335-2529 or e-mail BCS-Reg@michigan.gov at
least 10 working days prior to the scheduled date of the seminar. |
