A purchasing group is composed of members whose businesses or activities are similar or related (common business, trade, product, service, premises, or operation) with respect to the liability which its members are exposed and its purpose is to purchase liability insurance on a group basis. The purchasing group is domiciled in a state and purchases insurance ONLY for its members to cover their similar liability exposure.

You have the option to enter criteria for the Purchasing Group name if you wish. When you enter criteria for the Purchasing Group , a search will be made for all records that meet the criteria. If you do not enter criteria, a search will be made for all records.

Example: The letters ma are entered as criteria for the Purchasing Group . When the Submit button is clicked, a search will be made for all Purchasing Groups for the that contain the letters ma. This means you will see results where the Purchasing Group begins with ma or has the letters ma somewhere within the Purchasing Group name.
