A Group Self Insurance Pool is an entity that is formed by at least
two municipal corporations, such as cities, school districts, or public
authorities. Group Self Insurance Pools offer some types of property
and casualty insurance protection to its members, who are other municipal
corporations. While Group Self Insurance Pools file their financial
statements annually, they do not file their rates or forms for review
or approval.
You have the option to enter criteria for the Group Self Insurance
Pool name if you wish. When you enter criteria for the Group Self
Insurance Pool, a search will be made for all records that meet the
criteria. If you do not enter criteria, a search will be made for
all records.
Example: The letters ma are entered as criteria for
the Group Self Insurance Pool. When the Submit button is clicked,
a search will be made for all Group Self Insurance Pools that contain
the letters ma. This means you will see results where
the Group Self Insurance Pool begins with ma or has
the letters ma somewhere within the Group Self Insurance
Pool name.
