The Michigan Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) allows the public to submit requests for copies of non-exempt information to the Michigan Public Service Commission by fax and E-mail. Requests can be faxed to (517) 241-6181.

The Michigan Public Service Commission maintains information and documents related to its authority. This includes the regulation of electric companies, rural electric cooperatives, natural gas companies, and certain services by telephone companies doing business in Michigan.

You may be charged for the response to your FOIA request. The cost will be calculated at $0.25 per page. Postage and other charges related to the shipment will be on an actual cost basis.
