	LANSING, October 11.  The Michigan Public Service Commission today approved 
a settlement agreement authorizing Cloverland Electric Cooperative to reconcile power 
supply cost recovery (PSCR) revenues and expenses for the 12-month period ending 
December 31, 2000.   The settlement agreement provides that Cloverland overcollected 
$554,521 between January 1 and December 31, 2000 from it customers.   Seasonal member-
customers have been refunded $75,293 from June through August 2001.  The remaining 
$479,228 will be credited to monthly member-customers during the billing months of April 
through December 2001
	Cloverland seasonal and monthly member-customers using 500 kilowatt hours (kWh) 
of electricity per month will see a one time credit of $1.98, based on a credit of $0.003961 
per kWh.  Individual customer credits may vary, based on actual customer electric use.  
	The settlement agreement was found to be reasonable and in the public interest.
	Cloverland Electric Cooperative is located in Dafter, Michigan and provides 
electric service to member customers in Chippewa, Mackinac, Luce, and Schoolcraft 
counties.
	The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Consumer and Industry Services.
