LANSING, July 25.  The Michigan Public Service Commission today granted J5 Inc. authority 
to construct and operate the Albert Pipeline in Montmorency County, Michigan to serve the 
public convenience and necessity.  The Commission stated that the pipeline is practicable it will 
provide an economic means of delivering natural gas to market.  J5 Inc. will use the pipeline to 
transport gas from its Albert 32 Central Production Facility to a point of interconnection with the 
Spartan Pipeline in East Albert Township, Montmorency County.  J5 Inc. applied for approval to 
construct and operate the pipeline on April 11, 2001.

The pipeline will meet the requirements of the Michigan Gas Safety Code if constructed, tested, 
and operated as proposed.  J5 Inc shall file a completion report, including pressure test data and a 
map of the Albert Pipeline as constructed, with the Commission within 60 days of completion.

J5 Inc is headquartered in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
